14-year-old inmate at Blount County Juvenile Detention Facility dies
BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy who was being held at the Blount County Juvenile Detention Facility. According to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, the teen was rushed from the juvenile detention facility to Blount Memorial Hospital by an AMR Ambulance shortly after 7 p.m.
